Had an absolute blast meeting some lovely models for a runway show recently. They really know their stuff! Their walks and poses were just stunning and it was an absolute pleasure to do their makeup!

Work of late
I've been enjoying working in varied mediums of late. I took place in a beauty editorial competition, some weddings coming up and a television commercial as well. It's exciting working with so many nice people in so many different environments. My classes are keeping me busy mon-fri - check out my facebook page to see some of my demos ;)
Kate the chameleon
What a transformation!! The lovely kate allowed me to have a play and go for a different look. We were both so happy with the results. It also helps when your model is very pretty and photogenic!! Thanks kate :)
Makeup lessons
I have had a fair few enquiries lately about teaching personal makeup i.e showing you how to do your makeup using your goodies. What you learn is completely up to you - day wear, going out look, smokey eye, perfect red lips, camouflaging techniques etc. I'm available during the upcoming school holidays so let me know if you're interested.

My weekends are filling quickly for weddings spring 2014! Looking forward to meeting and taking care of all my lovely brides and their bridal parties :)
One person, four makeup looks
I've always been amazed by the power of makeup to completely change a person. The way people wear their makeup can completely alter one's image or persona. As a little experiment, i did four separate makeups- natural, peachy cream, 50's inspired and modern smokey. I purposefully did not do the hair, did not change the background,photographic settings, model or expression to limit the variables for our perspectives and keep the focus on the makeup only. What do you think? Which look do you like best? Perhaps it's time to reach outside our comfort zone to find our alter egos or express ourselves differently. Makeup has the power to enhance your confidence and emphasize your natural beauty , while expressing who you are within. :)
