I’ve been busy hosting makeup lessons of late so I thought I’d answer some FAQ’s:
Where are they held? The makeup lesson is held at my little home studio in Charlestown.
What do I bring? Bring along any makeup or tools you own. I have clients bring multiple bags of makeup through to 2 or 3 items. It doesn’t matter how much you own or how experienced you are, it helps me understand what we need to go through and what products would suit your needs.
Should I chose the one or two hour lesson? The hour lesson goes by very quickly so I usually recommend this lesson to those who just want to focus on a few things in particular. The two hour makeup class is great for those who want to go step by step through their application.
Do I come with makeup on? No, please come with a fresh face (washed and moisturised) so we can spend our time learning, not removing your makeup.
Should I go shopping and buy products to bring to the makeup class? No, I use my kit and talk about different products and most clients leave with a shopping list of sorts.
I find places like Mecca and Sephora intimidating, can you help? Absolutely! I write a list of exactly what you need to ask for so you can walk in with confidence. Most of the girls at Charlestown and Kotara Mecca know my business and they are happy for you to just hand over my list. The girls at Mecca in particular are more than happy to help you find the perfect colour and sit you down for a consultation regardless of your age or stage or gender.
